Abbott Nutrition New Zealand is voluntarily recalling all batches of ZonePerfect Peanut Toffee bars 50g. This action is in response to the widening salmonella related recall involving peanut butter and peanut paste ingredients manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), one of the peanut ingredient suppliers to the company. ZonePerfect Peanut Toffee Bars 50g should not be consumed. Abbott Nutrition tests every lot of finished ZonePerfect bars for salmonella and no salmonella contamination has been detected. The product is sold across all supermarkets and specialised nutrition stores throughout New Zealand. Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund or phone 0800-666-444 with any queries. This recall only affects the above referenced products and does not affect any other Zone Perfect Bars or any other Abbott Nutrition products in New Zealand.
