Fifeshire Fishing (1993) are recalling their 1kg Captain’s Choice Fish Cakes after discovering that some of the product is contaminated with plastic. All 1kg Captain’s Choice Fish Cakes with Best Before Date 29 August 2008 Time Code 0600 to 0700 should not be consumed.

There have been no reports of injury, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The product is sold in supermarkets throughout New Zealand. Customers should return the product to the retailer they purchased the product from for a full refund or phone 0800 732 5673 with any queries.

This recall does not affect any other Fifeshire Fishing product.
