Recall Newspaper Advertisement Template - General Products
This template provides a basis for developing a newspaper advertisement for a food recall electronically. The advertisement needs to be approved by a Health Protection Officer and NZFSA before publishing.
Refer to Recall Quick Reference Guide for further details for media statements and advertising.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum size of advertisement is 2 columns wide by 10 centimetres in height, the four major newspapers have a 2-column width of 7.2 - 7.6cm wide
• The advertisement must have a cross-hatched border
• The advertisement is to appear in the main body of the newspaper, a Health Protection Officer/NZFSA approval must be sought before publishing the advertisement.

Important Points to Note:
• Recall notices should exclude promotional information
• The company logo may appear in the advertisement but it should not detract any attention from the recall message.
• Draft advertisements should be submitted to NZFSA through the Health Protection Officer to ensure the wording is satisfactory.
