The New Zealand Food Safety Authority has received 49 submissions on the
draft Operational Policy on Prescription Animal Remedy (PAR) products. The
submissions have come from a variety of groups and individuals but most have
raised the issue of increased risk relating to animal welfare, agricultural
security and trade in primary products.
