Letter to the Editor, New Zealand Listener (14 May 2007)

NZFSA can assure drinkers of New Zealand wine that we are not aware of any evidence that screw caps pose any health concern. Screw caps are approved for use in many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the US and the EU. NZFSA is in close contact with food safety agencies around the world and takes appropriate action when it becomes aware of an issue of health significance.
