Simulated typical diets for the 2003/2004 New Zealand Total Diet Survey
The development of 'typical' diets or food intakes are required to enable an appropriate assessment of likely exposure of population groups to agricultural compounds residues, contaminant elements and selected nutrients, simulated through the food supply. Typical diets enable food consumption data and food sample analysis data to be combined, and the exposure of the population to be measured.
