Portable Document Format (PDF)
About PDF files
Many NZFSA documents are made available as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDFs are used to retain the exact formatting of the original printed document. If you want to print a document it is recommended that you print out the PDF version, if one is available.
Viewing PDF files
In order to view and print PDF documents you will need to have PDF Reader software installed on your computer. There are many PDF readers available for free from various providers. To find a PDF reader we recommend that you enter the phrase ‘PDF reader’ into your favourite search engine.
Saving a PDF file to your computer
To save a PDF to your computer, you will need to refer to the documentation for your particular PDF reader software.
Alternatively you can use the ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ option to save the PDF file:
1. Using the right-side mouse button click on the link to the PDF
2. Select the ‘Save Target As’ option in Internet Explorer, or ‘Save Link As’ in Firefox
3. Save the file to a location on your computer
